I'M HOME (For Now)

hahahah so this was what i wrote Wednesday the 18th and Thursday the 19

 OK so i'm going to be honest with you all and tell you that i hate typing... (well i just am really bad at it) that's why last weeks email was so short!! and my key board had no letters on it...  (first picture)

but!! this week has been awesome (just like last week) I LOVE the mission life !! one because i get to share this wonderful TRUE gospel to the people here in Fortaleza Brazil!!! it is truly the best thing ever!!! and 2 because i see this gospel change so many peoples lives!! this gospel blesses everyone!! and it it so cool to see it change peoples lives!! and 3 because i see the hand of the lord in my life every day!!  

 

this week we have been teaching 4 people well kind of 6 but ill explain!! we are teaching beatriz and her 2 sisters bruer and anna!!1 beatriz was supposed to get baptized on Saturday but it got cancelled cause we all got quarantined.... we are still teaching her sisters well trying after we are also teaching Nicolas hes 8 his older bro was baptized a couple months ago!!! and the other 2 we aren't really teaching they have already been taught but they need to get married before they are baptized!! and they are getting married the 28 soooooo that means they can get baptized after that which is dope!! but we always go by there house too talk to them and the members next door they are super generous they always feed us like every night on Tuesday they made us fish it was soooo good ill put a picture below!!! They also cook corn and sell it so when ever we go over there we get corn which i love cause its on the cob and its drenched in butter hahahha!!!

 

supposedly where i am is kind of the ghetto of Fortaleza. my area is palmares which is in the town of Bom Jardin its nice here lots of trash though... my companion said that he was mugged in the area next to us so lets hope that doesn't happen here! oh and just so you all know they don't really use toilet paper here.... you usually just shower after or there is a hose next to the toilet to rinse off!! there is also a lot of cats and dogs here 

 

well that was what happened before i found out i was getting sent home....but here's what happens after so we found out we were getting quarantined Wednesday night but that we could still baptize beatriz on Saturday which meant we could still go out and teach her and her sisters!! we went out on Thursday and taught them about the commandments! beatriz know all about them because she had already had this lesson but her sisters hadn't so we taught them all about the the commandments! them the next day was Friday. on Friday we didn't have a lesson scheduled but the district leader was going to come with us to do beatriz's baptism interview! which was at 2. but we got a call from him at 1:30 that we couldn't have it and we couldn't baptize her on Saturday because Brazil came out with a fine for being on the streets ($50,000 reais $10,000 US) so we couldn't baptize her which was kind of disappointing but i thought after quarantine we can!! then later that night we got a call from our bispo (bishop) and he told us that we were being sent back to the our home countries and that we would serve there.....  

 

Saturday came Sunday came and on Monday we were told to pack our bags and that we could be sent home at any time. we packed all day that day Tuesday went by and we were told that i was going home Wednesday night and was flying to sao paulo i was already packed and ready to leave then my flight got canceled and was told to be at the Fortaleza airport at 8 Thursday morning i woke up that morning and the bishop didn't show up to take me so we ran over to his house and woke him up and then went! at the air port i got in line then i saw elder wooden! we then got on the flight and flew to hecifi Brazil and picked up more missionary's and then flew to sao paulo at sao paulo i saw tons of people i knew form the CTM/MTC i saw Elder woods and elder smith who are some buddy's from high school and that was awesome to talk to them for a bit!! we then flew to Atlanta which is like a 10 hour flight.... after Atlanta i flew to salt lake and saw my fam and now i am home! for 14 day and then will be reassigned in the US! its crazy that i'm home and that i'm not in Brazil any more but i know heavenly father has a plan for us and i hope that someday i will be able to return to Brazil!!! but i know this is what the lord wants for me right now!
