Hard Work Pays Off...Sometimes

This week has been probably THE best week out here in South Carolina!! Here are some highlights of each of my days!! Tuesday- zone conference which was awesome our new president is super spiritual and its sweet he talked about how we need to constantly be converting ourselves he told us his conversation story and how we are out here to be instruments in the lords hands! And bring people to Christ!

Wednesday-we did service with a member laying sod it was super hot and I got really dirty, but it definitely is nice to get out of our house

Thursday- we did service again with another member moved sticks and a couple big trees out of his yard and drove them to his house so he can burn them!

Friday- we did more service with members moved windows and put up cabinets for them!!

Sat- we finished putting up cabinets and helped his neighbors put in a deep freezer we also had a lesson with sister and brother Cummins we got to know them a lot better and found out they have known the missionaries for 30 years! They asked us why we pray to Joseph smith and we helped them understand that we pray to God just like them and that Joseph is just a prophet!! And they really started to understand it we have a lesson with them this Sunday at the church, so I'll let you know how it goes!

Sunday- I gave a talk in our District sacrament meeting about faith and the chapters in come follow me if you haven't read them I really encourage you to go do so its Alma 32-35 in the Book of Mormon they are awesome and can teach you a lot about how to increase your own faith!! One thing that really stuck out to me in there is the word desire! And how we all need to have a little more desire to strengthen our faith!! I know that as you are strengthening your desire to increase your faith the lord will bless you!

Haha so about the title we had 2 lessons this week fall through which is super disappointing but there is a quote on our wall that I read every day and I thought I'd share it with yall it says

"Hard work doesn't always result in success but it never results in regret"

I love yall!!
