6 Months!!

Wow I'm 1/4 of the way done with my mission and its definitely flying by but man I am loving every minute of it!! 2 things happened this week that are kind of funny! 1 I hit my 6 months and 2 I'm finally done with training!!! Kind of weird to think about (haha after 6 month) but with the couple months I was home I was never trained in the field as a missionary but now that it's done I think I got the swing of things!!

 

This week was awesome we saw tons of miracles and blessing I don't know if I can name them all! But here's how it went:

 

Tuesday, we had the best District Council Meeting ever it was awesome!! We discussed the talk Sharing the Restored Gospel by Dallin H. Oaks from October 2016 conference it is amazing if you haven't read it or remember it,  go back and read that talk, it will definitely help you want to share the joyfulness of the gospel!! That night the zone leaders came and hung with us for a little to see how we are doing and I had a glass bottle grape soda and couldn't open it so Elder Weiss (my zl) tried opening it on a brick and the glass shattered and he cut his finger (he definitely needed stitched) but I taped him up and he said he was fine he said he's lost all feeling in that finger! But other than that, he's fine! so that was definitely exciting! 

 

Wednesday, we laid sod for service and man was that exhausting we put down 12 pallets of sod, but it was good to get out! 

We finished cutting the sod on Thursday which was good! So, 2 full days of being out serving!

 

Friday was the day that Facebook finally started working hahah and we found 3 new people that day and man was that a miracle! Heavenly Father definitely had a hand in that one!! 

 

Sunday was fast and testimony meeting and I shared my testimony on happiness! And how one of the greatest ways to find happiness is through serving others! I think happiness and selflessness go hand in hand. As you think about Jesus Christ and how happy he was, it was because he was selfless he cared so much about others and their struggles he love all of us so much that he bled and died for each and every one of us! as you strive to be more Christlike you will feel the happiness flow and hit you like a wave! Just like I have felt it out here serving God's children!! And as your grow closer to Christ your testimony of the gospel will strengthen!!
