Repentance = Change And Engagement

I was reading through my last couple of emails and thought to myself "wow these are rough" so hopefully I can be better at writing these! I've repented for my laziness in writing and I'm sad I didn't pay more attention in my English classes that would have helped a lot more!

But to start off this week Monday I got a call from the APs and bam I got transferred. It was out of nowhere and I had only been with Elder Fisher for about a week and a half! But I packed up and moved to Beaufort! I am now in a trio with Elder Collins and Elder Peterson they are super cool we are the technology specialists, so we are super busy which is super fun and I'm loving it!

We are teaching this guy named Jeff Dewey he's dope, has a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon and has come to know it's TRUE through prayer with his Heavenly Father! I met him and thought this guy is stellar! He's on date to be baptized December 5th so pray that he can stop chewing Tobacco and Drinking!! He has known the missionaries for 18 years now and we got him to come to church for the first time this last Sunday and he LOVED it!! Funny story we were teaching Jeff outside his house on a picnic table and halfway through the lesson the beach I'm sitting on snaps and I fell right on my back! I don't know if that was the spirit telling me I need to lose some weight or if it was the spirit telling Jeff to get a new picnic table hahah (I guess it could he both!!:)

As the technology specialists we are the ones that post on the zone pages which we have 10 of so we work with the missionaries to make videos and edit them and then we get on and post them we also run the ads for the mission which is super fun to learn how to do it!

I don't think I've had more fun in my life then this last week meeting my awesome new companions and working hard spreading the gospel. It has been a blast here in Beaufort! I love Being a missionary! And I don't think I will want to come home at the end of my mission! hahaha

This week I really reflected on how to better myself. It's tough to say it but I've made a ton of mistakes in my life, I even make mistakes as a missionary.  I read in Moroni 10:32 "Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God." As we turn away for our sin and "deny ourselves from all ungodliness" we then will be perfected in Christ!! I know as you continue to make changes in your life you can and will grow closer to Jesus Christ!

Also, congratulations to my sister Danielle for getting engaged!!! I'm excited for you guys!! Ashton you better treat her well!!

I love y'all stay safe!!

Elder Denning!
