February Is Done???

Hey yall how is everyone!? I hope everyone is doing well!!

Let me tell you! The mission flies by! It's way too fast!! To think I've been here in Beaufort for almost 4 months! It's crazy, it feels like yesterday that I got transferred here with Elder Peterson and Elder Collins!! And now Elder Peterson is leaving!! He's off to bigger and better things! And is going to Augusta! I definitely going to miss him! We worked so hard together, and it was the best!! He told Joycelyn last night that he was leaving, and she cried!! It was sad, I wonder how she will be when I leave!! But I guess we will see!

Beaufort is Bumpin! The work here is amazing. Honestly there are so many people here that need the gospel in their lives and there are so many people that are willing to hear our message and to find out for themselves if it is true!! And most of them are coming to the same conclusion because it is!!!

This last week we had some miracles happen!! One of our friends we are teaching accepted Baptism!! And her date is April 24th! Caitlin is amazing and her testimony continues to grow every day!! Last time we talked to her she told us she's been carrying The Book of Mormon around with her and every chance she gets she reads it! When we invited her to be baptized, she was super nervous about it because her family is super active southern Baptists!! We asked her to pray about it and the next day she texted us and said, "just so you know I prayed and after thinking about it I'm super excited to be baptized!" We were stoked to hear that, and we knew that Heavenly Father answered her prayer!

I know that he can answer yours too!!

We also had another lady that we called this last week that accepted to be baptized as well! Her name is Keisha and we found her on Facebook! She is amazing and she has been reading the Book of Mormon and is praying about its truthfulness!! I know she will get her answer as well!!

We've also seen lots of success in getting people to come to church this last week! 7 of the people we are teaching were able to come to the sacrament service and the spirit was SO strong there!! They enjoyed it a lot and I think they are all going to come next week!! So, the work here is awesome! I LOVE being a missionary haha like I always say! But it's the best!

This last week I was studying Come Follow Me and one thing that really stuck out to me is, how much the Savior really did for us! In Come Follow Me it points out how much the savior suffered for me and you! And it talks a lot about repentance and how important it is to repent! But what really is repentance? Repentance is Change! And because of Jesus Christ each and every one of us can change!! Weather it's by doing the little things like praying or doing the big things like going to church and filling your calling!! We all can repent, and I invite each and every one of you to make those good changes in your life!!!

I hope all of ya'll have a great week!! 5 more lbs and I'll maybe in Brazil!!

Love ya'll!

Elder Denning
