Good Week And Brazil News!

What a week! I really hope your week was just as good as mine but I doubt it!;) My week was filled with a super spiritual Zone Conference, wonderful Spiritual Lessons and some big news about Brazil!

First our lessons this week were awesome!! We had a couple amazingly spiritual lessons with our friends we are teaching! Caitlin our friend we've been teaching for about 2 months we taught her all about the temple and the ordanices we perform In the temple!! It went amazing!! The spirit was there and she was so excited for her baptism on the 17th!!  we asked her if she would like to move it up to an earlier date but she said she wanted to keep it on the 17th for some reason. We had another super spiritual lesson with a part member family this last week that we just went and knocked on!! Before we got there she was praying to God for a sign and knock knock knock "who is it?" "The missionaries!!" We felt prompted to stop by there and it was definitely the spirit guiding us!:) We then talked to her and her son about Ether 12:27(one of my dad's favorite verses) and shared how if we bring our weaknesses to Christ he can help us!!! She said she wants her whole family (her son and her Fiancee) to be Baptized!! And to grow closer to Christ!! Which was a huge Miracle!!

We  also had Zone conference this last week on Wednesday!  It was awesome  the spirit was definitely there as we talked about the restoration and how important it is to help others understand why Christ's Church had to be restored. We also talked a lot about the Book of Mormon and how it is there to help us know that the Church is true!! The Book of Mormon is the key stone to our religion! I know that as you come to know it is true you will know the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true and living Church here on the earth today! Although many Churches around the world have lots of truth in them its important to have all of the truth!!

Another cool thing that happened at Zone conference was my president walked up to me and told me I was going back to Brazil! On April 15th which I'm super excited about. What made me sad though is I was going to miss Caitlin's baptism on the 17th. But there was a little miracle that happened on Sunday.

Sunday rolls around and we have an awesome Sacrament Meeting and Church Service. Caitlin was able to attend and we were able to talk a little bit after the meeting! As we were talking one of the members said "it sucks we're going to lose this Elder on the 15th" and Caitlin says "what you're leaving??" I told her how I was originally called to Brazil and how I am now eligible to go back and I'm headed back on the 15th. She was like well looks like I need to move my date up!! She texted us that night and told us she wants to be Baptized on the 8th just so I could be there!!:) I was super stoked cause I knew if I left on the 15th I'd miss her special day! But I'm happy she moved it up so I could celebrate  with her, that special occasion!

Also cool story. My Mission President here in the South Carolina Columbia Mission and my Mission President in the Fortaleza Brazil Mission were really good friends in high school so during interviews this last week my president shared some funny stories of both him and my President in Fortaleza. It's crazy how the Lord works in mysterious ways I know I was supposed to be here in South Carolina and I know that the next 17 days I'm supposed to help the people here and when I go back to Brazil I'll be there to help them. I know that the lord has a plan for each and every one of us and that he blesses us with tiny miracles every day!!

I am so excited to be a Missionary wherever the Lord needs me. Whether it's in Brazil or Beaufort I love love love helping others grow closer to Christ and make covenants with their Heavenly Father!!

I hope yall have a wonderful Easter and enjoy General Conference!!! Dont forget that God loves you and Jesus Christ died and lives again so that we may do the same!!:)

Have a good week stay safe!
