Last week In The States + Baptism

Wow this week just flew by! Holy cow, I hope y'all have been having a good week because I definitely did! 

 

My week was filled with miracle after miracle! And let me tell ya it was awesome! 

 

First MIRACLE! Was General Conference! It was amazing and as a missionary it's like Christmas! But better... all the Talks that were given were definitely meant for me! haha I definitely need to increase my faith like President Nelson said and continue to Let God Prevail in my life more and more each day!

 

Second MIRACLE our friend Caitlin was baptized! It was definitely special for me because when she found out I was leaving South Carolina, so she moved her baptismal date up so I could have the opportunity to Baptize her! It was such an amazing day for her, and I was happy I got to be a part of it! She was so excited to become a member and make that covenant with her Heavenly Father! The Gospel has brought her so much joy and I can't wait to see her continue to grow her testimony!

 

Third MIRACLE we met a lady name Vera (I've knocked on Vera's door 3 times and she hasn't been sober) this time we knocked she said she was Baptist, but I asked if I could share a Bible Message with her! So, I shared Matthew 11:28-30 which says 

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light

 

She then told us that she has been fighting addiction her whole life and we said we could help her with that! So, we went over and have been helping her quit smoking and drinking and ever since we started meeting with her she's been sober! 

 

Forth MIRACLE our new member Joycelyn was talking to her friend and she taught her friend the whole Restoration lesson and invited her friend to meet with the missionaries!! Super cool!!

 

Well, it's my last couple of days I'm here in the US and I'm definitely going to miss South Carolina! All I can say is I love love love this place and I love the people here!! I am so sad to leave but I know the Lord needs me there in Fortaleza! 

I guess next time I email y'all, I'll be in Brazil so wish me luck!!
