What A Wild Week

Wow, let me tell you God Is good! He is so good! 

 

This week has been tough. Probably one of the toughest week on my mission (but I knew I would be coming into it) first off, let me tell you Portuguese is hard..... really hard! I can kind of speak it if I remember some words and I can barely understand anyone! It's even harder to understand people through their masks and they have a strong accent here soooooo it's been difficult! Also, it's hot here like HOT!!! I basically carry my fan around with me everywhere in our Apartment! But that being said, GOD IS GOOD! Like I don't think I've seen as many miracles in one week my whole mission then in this last week!

 

Background story! So, me and my companion Elder Felix reopened this area (Itapipoca) it's been closed for about a year. So basically, when covid hit, the missionaries here left! And the members here in the branch have been begging for missionaries since then! During this time though, because of technology, some missionaries were still teaching people out here! So, on Tuesday we got in contact with Maria and her family! She has 2 sons living with her. We gave her a call and she said, basically I've been waiting for missionaries to come back!  Me and my family need to be baptized! So, we went over the next day talked with them and put them on date for Sunday! They were so excited, and the day was so special! Pictures below!!

 

We have been teaching people like crazy! It's been amazing! There are so many awesome people down here in Brazil!! 

And I am absolutely loving life! (Even though sometimes it is difficult) 

 

And that's what I want to share with y'all! Life is hard and difficult and stressful and sometimes not fun! But if you look to the lord in everything you do, if you pray daily, and ask for help he will be there. I promise you he is always there. You just have to notice him!!
