The Work Continues

Wow this week flew by... like every week but it was a good week (just so everyone knows I'm feeling fine. I got over covid for the second time) this last week started in quarantine. We have been doing all our work from our apartment which has been good, but we have been struggling to find people here in our area that are actually interested. I decided to change it up a little and look In the records we have here and reach out to some of the people who have already been taught before. I found the contact of Francisco. He talked to the Missionaries way back before covid and they didn't reach out again to him so, I had the opportunity to call him. I shared with him our purpose of Inviting others to come unto Christ.  He liked the sound of that, so we called him the next day and shared more about the gospel of Jesus Christ. He then wanted to know who has this authority to do these things (Baptise) we said we would teach him about the Restoration of Christ's church and how Joseph Smith restored his Church. When we told him how he can know The Chruch of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints is the true church here on the earth today he said "Elders I already know it's true, I know Joseph Smith was a prophet" we were stoked! It was great to see our work pay off!! I love this work and wouldn't trade what I am doing right now for anything else! 

 

Also I got great new from my old companion in Itapipoca! Mainardo was Baptized! He was someone Elder Felix and I found way back when I first got to Brazil!! Great to see people follow Jesus Christ!
