Wow, let me tell you God Is good! He is so good!    This week has been tough. Probably one of the toughest week on my mission (but I knew I would be coming into it) first off, let me tell you Portuguese is hard..... really hard! I can kind of speak it if I remember some words and I can barely understand anyone! It's even harder to understand people through their masks and they have a strong accent here soooooo it's been difficult! Also, it's hot here like HOT!!! I basically carry my fan around with me everywhere in our Apartment! But that being said, GOD IS GOOD! Like I don't think I've seen as many miracles in one week my whole mission then in this last week!   Background story! So, me and my companion Elder Felix reopened this area (Itapipoca) it's been closed for about a year. So basically, when covid hit, the missionaries here left! And the members here in the branch have been begging for missionaries since then! During this time though, because of technolog...

This is going to be short, but I made it back to Brasil and I am soooooo happy to be here! I am definitely going to miss South Carolina, but I already am loving it here! I got here and found out my comp is Elder Filex! He's from São Paulo! And he is a great missionary! I also found out we are opening an area that has been closed for a year. The area is 3 hours away, so we got on a bus today and drove there.  The area is called Itapipoca and the people here are so great!! I already love the branch!! The language is coming it's hard, but I know lot more than I thought, and the Gift of Tongues is real! I felt it the first day I got here!   But I love y'all, sorry its short I will write a longer one next week!!    Elder Denning!

Wow this week just flew by! Holy cow, I hope y'all have been having a good week because I definitely did!    My week was filled with miracle after miracle! And let me tell ya it was awesome!    First MIRACLE! Was General Conference! It was amazing and as a missionary it's like Christmas! But better... all the Talks that were given were definitely meant for me! haha I definitely need to increase my faith like President Nelson said and continue to Let God Prevail in my life more and more each day!   Second MIRACLE our friend Caitlin was baptized! It was definitely special for me because when she found out I was leaving South Carolina, so she moved her baptismal date up so I could have the opportunity to Baptize her! It was such an amazing day for her, and I was happy I got to be a part of it! She was so excited to become a member and make that covenant with her Heavenly Father! The Gospel has brought her so much joy and I can't wait to see her continue to gro...
